Due to a fault with the gas supply, there will be no heating or hot water in the Minerva Building on the Brayford Pool Campus on Friday 24 October.
Our Estates Maintenance Team is working urgently to resolve the issue, and we will share updates as soon as more information becomes available.
At this stage, scheduled teaching and other activity in the Minerva Building is expected to go ahead. However, it may be necessary to relocate or postpone some sessions, depending on room availability and individual circumstances.
If you plan to work or study in Minerva, please be aware that indoor temperatures will be lower than usual. We recommend dressing warmly. The catering outlets in the building will remain open but with limited hot food options.
- Staff who have the option to work elsewhere or from home should do so in agreement with their line manager.
- Students with timetabled sessions in Minerva should attend as normal. Please check your University email and Blackboard before travelling in case your session has been relocated or rescheduled.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We will provide a further update as soon as we are able.
